Concept: John Conway
The universe of the Game of Life is a grid of cells, each of which is either live or dead. Every cell interacts with its eight neighbours. At each step in time, the following transitions occur:- Any live cell with fewer than two live neighbours dies, as if by loneliness.
- Any live cell with more than three live neighbours dies, as if by overcrowding.
- Any live cell with two or three live neighbours lives, unchanged, to the next generation.
- Any dead cell with exactly three live neighbours comes to life.
